The Children's Ministry is an integral part of First Baptist Church of Kimberling City. It is a cooperative effort between the church and the home, utilizing the efforts of both the parents (guardians) and the church body to effectively reach the children of our community with the message of Jesus Christ. The The material we use is Bible-based. We believe the the Word of God is the answer to all of our needs and for our lives. Our teachers and assistants are a collective group of people who have trusted in Christ as their personal Savior and desire to share the love of Jesus to our children.
KidZone-Life Groups
KidZone meets at 9:00 AM in the lower level.
During Worship the children sit with their LifeGroup classmates and teachers to worship with the band and worship leaders followed by Life Group. In Life Group the boys and girls separated into classes designated by their age. Here they focus on Bible-based curriculum used to help them understand God's Word and how His love is demonstrated in their lives.

Mighty Kids of God (M-KOG) and our After-School Program are exciting Wednesday night ministries designed especially for kids ages 4 years through 6th grade. These programs provide a safe, welcoming environment where children can build friendships, have fun, and grow in their faith.
Our After-School Program, held from 4:00 to 5:15 PM, gives kids a place to unwind after school, enjoy supervised activities, and share a provided meal in a caring and secure setting.
Beginning at 5:15 PM, M-KOG (Mighty Kids of God) comes alive with high-energy music, fun games, and age-appropriate Bible teaching. Kids connect with others their own age while learning biblical stories and discovering God’s love in ways that are meaningful and memorable.
Perfect for families looking for a faith-based after-school program and a midweek kids church experience, M-KOG helps children grow spiritually while having a great time every Wednesday night.
